Lifelong friends and trusted business partners, Terry Hammons and David Starks lead HOMEstretch with decades of combined experience in real estate, renovations, and investment. Their partnership began at the College of William & Mary as Division I athletes and fraternity brothers, later evolving into a successful collaboration through their work with RedStar Properties.

With Terry’s legal and entrepreneurial background and David’s financial and construction expertise, they offer a well-rounded, hands-on approach to every project. Together, they deliver HOMEstretch’s streamlined solutions with precision, integrity, and a strong commitment to client success.

With over three decades in commercial real estate, David Starks brings a deep, well-rounded understanding of the industry—from financing and development to property management and investment strategy. His experience spans nearly every corner of the real estate world, giving him a unique ability to see both the big picture and the fine details that make a project successful.

 

David has spent much of his career helping others unlock the potential in properties—whether that means structuring smart deals, reimagining underused spaces, or guiding long-term investment decisions. As Founder of RedStar Properties and owner of HOMEstretch, his years of financial expertise in the industry helps clients move forward with confidence.

 

Outside of real estate, David is a lifelong soccer fan and home design enthusiast. If he’s not watching a match, he’s likely working on a renovation project with his wife—a passion they’ve shared for over 30 years.
